This is highly recommended for a trip in this price range and duration, but it's not mandatory. There are too many plans and options outline here but you should find something that fits your needs within these three options.

GoAhead Insurance:

  • Covers you for cancellation prior to tour, medical reimbursement on tour, evacuation, tour interruption, lost & stolen personal items, & more!

  • Any Reason Protection waiver- cancel for any reason

  • Pre-existing Condition Coverage- available on the premium Trip Protection

  • Basic Trip Protection: $309-$329

  • Trip Protection: $409-$429

Here is another option I have used: AIG Travel Guard

A local source for insurance Sharla Rhodes who runs a Cruise Tour company. She has custom plans that typically offer better medical coverage than average. You can call her at 525-8446 or email. (She is traveling August 20 to 27 so may not respond quickly)

About Me

My name is Rick Tuttle and I've been on the Board of Directors for the Kirkman House Museum... for a longgg time.  I always wanted to do trips to England and Ireland to see where William and Isabella Kirkman grew up. We went to Ireland in 2019 and now I'm planning Great Britain in 2023.  I've visited many of the places on this tour in 1993  and 2019 and am very excited to go back and share them with you.

If you are interested in the trip join our mailing list to the right and we'll invite you to a no obligation presentation or I'm happy to meet with you personally over an ice tea.
